In this Workshop you will learn many exciting shibori techniques which can be used for quilt fabrics, for creating one of a kind garments or accent pieces. We will work with cotton and MX fiber reactive dyes to bring out the vibrant colored patterns you create. Friday and Saturday will focus on different patterning techniques and we will begin dyeing Friday afternoon. Then you’ll have a week to work at your own pace preparing pieces for dyeing on Saturday October 12th. Maximum number for the class: 5 all skill levels welcome. Cost: $90 per day plus a supply fee of $25.00.
Note: Those who have taken an indigo Shibori workshop from me in the past, you will learn new techniques and be working with color.
